RAEESA FAROUK KHAN (LLB- UKZN) (LLM- BUSINESS LAW- UKZN)
Raeesa matriculated at Maritzburg Muslim School for Girls (MMSG) in 2009 and completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2013. She graduated with her LLB in 2014 from the University of KwaZulu- Natal and commenced Articles of Clerkship (vocational training) at Siva Chetty and Company. In 2016 Raeesa further graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Law from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal. She simultaneously was admitted as a Legal Practitioner (Attorney) of the High Court of South Africa in April 2016. Raeesa thereafter joined Carlos Miranda Attorney as a professional assistant. She has extensive knowledge and experience in civil, criminal and family law matters. The legal practitioner also has a keen interest in commercial and property law. Raeesa believes that success is derived from constant dedication and she therefore strives to give clients an excellent legal service by exceeding their expectations as well as promoting the core values of the legal practice she practises in, more specifically honesty and consistent dedication towards clientele in her performance as a legal practitioner.
